Overview

Join agency and industry leaders this fall for the fifth annual Commuter Rail Summit designed to advance the partnerships, strategies, and operational insights shaping the future of regional rail.

The 2026 Commuter Rail Summit brings together agency executives, policymakers, operators, suppliers, consultants, and industry partners for a high-value, relationship-driven gathering focused on the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing commuter rail.

In an intimate setting built for practical discussion and direct connection, attendees will participate in executive conversations, technical tours, peer exchanges, networking events, and regional mobility experiences hosted with Trinity Metro, DART, and DCTA.

Together, participants will examine how commuter rail agencies and their partners are strengthening service, expanding regional connectivity, preparing for major events, advancing transit-oriented development, applying emerging technologies, and building resilient organizations.

The commuter rail industry will gather at The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth November 9-11, 2026 for round table discussions, fireside chats with industry leaders, technical tours and next-level networking to prepare for both the challenges and the unprecedented opportunities awaiting the nation’s commuter railroads.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Convene for two+ days of robust content, peer-to-peer discussions and fireside chats, plus technical tours offered by Trinity Metro.

Connect with agency leadership, colleagues, and policymakers. Each day offers multiple opportunities to build relationships across the industry, including Monday’s Welcome Reception at Cowtown Coliseum, at Tuesday’s Cocktail Hour and Awards Dinner at T&P Station, and as we travel on Trinity Metro for technical tours.

Collaborate throughout the week: discuss best practices, learn with and from others in the industry, share your own solutions to help solve industry challenges, and to embrace opportunities on the horizon.
